Do you mean part time working or staff having flexible hours?
No, for
us "Flexible Working" means giving staff the flexibility
to work from any location whether remote or mobile. This means
that the role of the traditional office based workplace can
be questioned and new ways of working implemented that deliver
more sustainable methods at the same time as driving increased
business productivity, efficiencies and effectiveness.
Is Flexible Working an "All or Nothing" approach?
Certainly
not, we understand that many businesses may not choose to
follow the path that we did in implementing a 100% flexible
working business. A flexible working approach may suit some
parts of the organisation or roles better than others.
It doesn't have to be "a one size fits all" decision
but we do suggest that the decision is best approached with
an open mind. In fact we surprised ourselves at just how many
parts of our business could work remotely - and that in achieving
this level of flexibility essential areas like communications,
problem management and general business decision making would
be improved as well as delivering key benefits such as:

of productive time lost due to bad weather, traffic congestion
or other transport disruption
